As an Employment Adviser, you will sit within the Employment & Careers team, supporting the delivery of our employment services by recruiting beneficiaries through outreach and assisting them to secure or progress in employment.
Reporting to the Head of Employment & Careers, you will manage and support a varied caseload, providing high-quality information and guidance. You will conduct in-depth initial assessments to develop SMART and tailored action plans.
Your role involves maintaining meaningful weekly contact with beneficiaries, reviewing and updating actions regularly, and fostering a positive mindset through a strengths-based approach.
You will also engage with employers, support job fairs and sector-specific workshops, and ensure the service remains at capacity by establishing referral networks and attending outreach events.
Requirements include at least 1 year of experience supporting disadvantaged groups into employment, training, or education, experience with evidence-based practices, target setting, and influencing skills.
You will be responsible for weekly/monthly caseload reviews and maintaining beneficiary records on internal systems.
