Brief Description
Responsible for managing international supply chain logistics for Jazz products in compliance with GDP and other regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and lead supply chain logistics strategies to meet business needs.
* Lead projects such as network development, shipping route design, validation/qualification, temperature-controlled logistics, and new product introductions.
* Collaborate with functions like Tech Ops, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Commercial to achieve logistics objectives.
* Ensure timely supply and distribution of products, monitoring partner performance and implementing improvements.
* Manage relationships with logistics providers through regular communication and performance reviews.
* Oversee logistics operations, including shipment tracking and system accuracy.
* Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, minimizing risks and costs.
* Work with commercial teams to interpret demand forecasts and manage product positioning.
Essential Functions
* Manage logistics providers, ensuring product availability and efficiency.
* Produce performance reports and lead review meetings.
* Act as a point of contact for logistics providers, managing relationships and performance metrics.
* Address quality issues and participate in CAPAs.
* Support other logistics team members and global supply chain functions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Knowledge of GDP practices and import/export procedures.
* Experience with temperature-controlled shipments across air, ocean, and truck modes.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Analytical skills for problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment and under pressure.
* Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
* Excellent English skills, both spoken and written.
Education
* Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics, or related field.
