Job description
Our client is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join their team in Essex. This permanent role is geared towards residential projects, with particular commercial projects also included. The workload allows for the addition of a new inspector, providing an excellent opportunity for career development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conducting inspections of residential and commercial buildings to ensure compliance with building regulations
* Providing detailed reports and recommendations based on inspections
* Collaborating with construction teams to ensure project specifications are met
* Offering expert advice on Building Control to various stakeholders
* Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all inspections and findings
* Liaising with local authorities and clients to address any issues or concerns
* Maintaining knowledge of current regulations and industry standards
* Supporting other team members and contributing to a collaborative work environment
Job Requirements:
* Experience in Building Control within residential and commercial sectors
* Strong understanding of building regulations and standards
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in report writing and documentation
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
* Relevant qualification in Building Control or related field
