Job Description:
The Role
Futures & Options/ ETD Exchange Fees Reconciliations Analyst (Reconciliations SME with Python, or SQL coding experience)
Martis Search is representing a City of London based global Trading company to hire a permanent “Futures & Options Exchange Fees Reconciliations Analyst.”
The role reports into a senior Futures/ ETD Operations Manager and our client is looking for someone with an aptitude for coding in languages such as Python (highly desirable), or SQL, with a minimum of 1-year’s Operations experience gained within a reputable Brokerage or Investment Bank (all experience levels above 1-year considered).
You could come from either:
* Futures Reconciliations (ideally with Python, or SQL with a strong aptitude for coding and automating tasks).
* Reconciliations (non-Futures related, ideally with Python, or SQL but with strong coding and automation skills).
* Data Reconciliations (preferably with Python, or SQL, with a strong aptitude for automating tasks).
* Static Data (handling large data sets, ideally with Python, or SQL, and strong automation skills).
The role involves working with large Futures Exchange Fee Data sets from various global Futures & Options Exchanges such as LIFFE, Eurex, LME, CME, CBOT, ICE, and more, as well as 3rd Party Futures Clearing Agents, supporting the bank’s global trading Futures Clearing business.
You will be working with high-volume data sets, verifying, reconciling, and investigating each major Futures & Options fee. Currently, many processes are manual.
The client seeks someone with aptitude in Python (preferred) or SQL (with willingness to learn Python), aiming over several months to automate manual processes and reduce manual tasks, alongside daily BAU operations.
There are significant growth and promotion opportunities within the bank’s Operations department, with potential to advance to Operations Manager or other roles as the business expands.
The role is 4 days per week in their London office, with 1 day remote working.
Salary up to £70k per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus, pension, and other benefits.
