Salary: MPS/UPS (Dependent on Experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a thoughtful and passionate RE Teacher to join a caring and inclusive secondary school in Calne. You'll be delivering engaging RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to think critically, reflect on different perspectives, and develop their own understanding of the world around them.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver inclusive, thought-provoking lessons
Encourage respectful discussion and critical thinking
Support students in developing empathy, understanding, and cultural awareness
Contribute to curriculum planning and enrichment opportunities
Maintain high standards of behaviour and academic progressWhat We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Religious Education or related Humanities subjects
Experience teaching RE up to GCSE level
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
A passion for education and student development
