South of England (Multi-Site Role)
Salary: Up to £65,000 + Car Package (DOE)
About the Role
We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable SHEQ Business Partner to join a growing construction team iwthin a large and diverse company, working across a portfolio of refurbishment and fit-out projects throughout the South of England.
Reporting directly to the Health & Safety Compliance Manager, you’ll be an integral part of a collaborative and experienced SHEQ department, supporting safe delivery across multiple live sites. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual looking to bring fresh energy, strong technical competence, and a solutions-focused mindset to a well-established team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide expert SHEQ guidance across multiple refurbishment and fit-out sites.
Carry out regular site audits, inspections, and compliance checks to ensure best practice and regulatory adherence.
Support the development, review, and implementation of RAMS, safe systems of work, and SHEQ documentation.
Partner with Project Managers and Site Teams to drive continuous improvement in health, safety, environmental, and quality performance.
Assist with incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
Deliver toolbox talks, briefings, and training materials to enhance on-site safety culture.
Assist the Compliance Manager with SHEQ initiatives, reporting, and departmental projects.
Promote a proactive, positive culture of safety and quality across all operational teams.
Requirements
NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) or equivalent SHEQ qualification.
Experience in the construction sector, ideally within refurbishment, fit-out, interiors, or similar environments.
Strong understanding of UK H&S legislation, compliance standards, and ISO frameworks.
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across the South of England.
Excellent communication, engagement, and influencing skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing your own workload independently.
