Are you a compassionate and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a young person's life? We are currently recruiting for a Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a KS3 student in a supportive school setting in St Helens.
This rewarding position involves:
Working closely with a KS3 student with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis.
Supporting the student's academic, social, and emotional development.
Collaborating with teaching staff and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Monitoring progress and contributing to the student's individual education plan (IEP).
Support students both in the classroom, around the school, during small groups or one-to-one sessions and break times.
What you'll need to succeed
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a 1:1 capacity.
A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Full right to work in the UK.
