As a vital part of the operations, you will ensure that their products are packed securely and efficiently, maintaining a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Use a variety of materials, such as boxes, shrink wrap, and tape, to package goods securely, preventing damage during transit.
2. Conduct quality control inspections, checking for damages, defects, or missing components, and follow procedures for discarding or replacing non-compliant items.
3. Apply accurate labels and complete all relevant paperwork to track order progress effectively.
4. Assist in unloading deliveries, stocking shelves, and conducting inventory checks to maintain an organised warehouse.
5. Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, in accordance with safety regulations (if licensed).
6. Uphold Health and Safety policies and maintain a clean, organised work environment.
Ideal Candidate:
7. Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality control processes.
9. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
10. Good organisational skills with a focus on accurate documentation.
11. A proactive approach to Health and Safety in the workplace.
