Qualified Social Workers required within the Mental Health Team
3 Month Contract (Possible extension)
Rate £38 Per hour (Umbrella Rate)
Location: Countywide visits and hybrid working
Skills and Experience Required
Strong experience in working within adult mental health services
A good understanding of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and Section 117 responsibilities
Confidence managing complex risk, safeguarding, and multi‑agency work
The ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment
Provide support and therapy to individuals and families experiencing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, or substance misuse, using a strengths-based approach.
Conduct assessments (psychosocial, risk, care needs) to establish diagnoses and identify required support.
Develop and monitor individualised care plans, in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
Undertake crisis intervention and risk management, safeguarding vulnerable individuals using frameworks like the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, or Care Act.
Advocate for clients' rights and coordinate with community, statutory, and voluntary services to ensure access to resources and promote social inclusion.
Provide therapy and counselling through one-to-one or group sessions using evidence-based models such as CBT or DBT
