Senior Associate - Strategic Land Development
Location: Home Based with occasional travel to Warwickshire

Our client, a leading regional legal practice, is looking to recruit a Senior Associate (preferably 5-10 years PQE) to join their growing Development team, focusing on Strategic Land Development. The firm works extensively with regional and national landowners and property developers, and seeks an experienced solicitor with a strong background in Strategic Land Development, including Option and/or Promotion agreements, and an established reputation in this field, ideally with connections to agencies.
This role offers a great opportunity to develop a practice/business in Strategic Land Development across the UK.
Responsibilities:
* Manage your own caseload and meet deadlines;
* Assist Partners with complex and high-value matters;
* Maintain good client relationships through effective management and service;
* Scope and price new instructions appropriately, with good financial management;
* Provide clients with accurate, up-to-date legal advice tailored to their circumstances, ensuring value for money;
* Contribute to the team’s business plan and deliver assigned activities;
* Develop relationships with peers across the firm;
* Support business development and marketing efforts, including attending conferences;
* Manage direct reports as the team expands.
Person Specification:
* Proven technical experience in Strategic Land Development;
* Adaptable, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work under pressure individually and as part of a team;
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the firm;
* Prioritize client satisfaction through timely, cost-effective service;
* Communicate effectively at all levels;
* Possess strong commercial acumen and a desire to grow with the firm.
