Aftersales Manager. Full time including alternate Saturdays
Responsibilities and Duties
Reporting to the General Manager your duties will include:
* To ensure the efficient and profitable operation of all aftersales departments.
* To maximise departmental performance in line with market potentials through the sale of labour, parts and materials to franchise and non franchise, retail and trade customers.
* To deal with customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs in an efficient and courteous manner to ensure high standards of customer satisfaction, ensuring customers requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of the department.
* To accurately record customer and vehicle details and service histories and to operate a customer follow up-system.
* To plan the optimum utilisation of the workshop capacity.
* To ensure the highest possible standard of workmanship within the workshops and to ensure that all work is completed on time and to customer satisfaction.
* To supervise and educate department staff in the proper and safe use of equipment and resources.
* To ensure accurate submission of warranty claims on a daily basis and to monitor daily and weekly reports.
Previous experience within this role is desired. You will also require a full Driving licence
Hours of work are 45 hrs per week including alternate Saturday mornings.
