About this job
Applause IT is working with a growing MSP that is looking for a 2nd Line Engineer with solid experience in a Microsoft tech stack and prior experience in a managed service environment.
The 2nd Line Engineer will provide technical assistance to clients, including diagnosing and resolving issues, setting up hardware and software, managing users and devices, handling technical queries, and escalating support tickets through our service desk for prompt resolution.
The ideal candidate should have experience with:
* MSP background, ability to multitask and prioritize
* Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server 2012-2022, Office 365, SCCM (or similar), Active Directory
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Updating the ticketing system with accurate notes and actions
* Responding to Service Desk calls and tickets
* Virtualization technologies such as VMWare ESXi, Veeam Backup & Replication, Hyper-V
* Ability to explain technical issues simply to end users at all levels
Must possess a clean UK driving license.
