We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer within our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub team. This role provides administrative support to the front-line teams based in 3 Knowsley Place, Bury. You will be working as part of a welcoming and supportive team, providing Business Support to Social Workers, Health, and Education professionals to ensure the safeguarding and best possible outcomes for children and young people. The working hours are Wednesday afternoon, and all day Thursday and Friday from 8:45 to 17:00.
Children’s Services prioritizes the interests of children, working with families to offer quality advice, support, and guidance.
We seek an organised, self-motivated, and professional individual capable of providing high-level administrative support. You will work in a rewarding, fast-paced environment, handling online and phone referrals into Children’s Services from the public and professionals including Police, Health, and Education sectors. The role requires working to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
* Exceptional organisational skills are necessary to manage conflicting deadlines independently, re-prioritising or delegating tasks as needed.
* Ability to resolve problems and use initiative to find practical solutions.
* Experience with computer packages and confidence in using bespoke software within different services.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills to deliver polite, courteous, and efficient service to colleagues, partners, and service users.
