We are looking for a People Advisory Manager to join RSM’s people team in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, or London. Reporting to the Associate Director - People Operations and Advisory, you will support the implementation of RSM’s people strategy — Make an Impact and Be our Future.
Working closely with the HR Business Partner for the tax service line, you will deliver people initiatives and operational priorities through the People Advisory team. While strategic direction is provided by the HRBP, your role will ensure high-quality, consistent delivery of people solutions across the employee lifecycle. You will also support your team on complex employee relations matters, acting as an escalation point to ensure fair, consistent, and commercially sound outcomes.
Your Responsibilities Include:
1. Supporting the delivery of the people agenda nationally and across the service line, including wellbeing, engagement, and inclusion initiatives.
2. Executing people change programmes with clear communication, alignment with firm values, and impact management.
3. Leading, coaching, and developing the People Advisory team to ensure quality delivery and a collaborative environment.
4. Enhancing employee experience through high-quality people processes, positioning RSM as an employer of choice.
5. Providing expert advice on policies and processes, ensuring fair and consistent application, and offering pragmatic solutions.
6. Managing employee relations issues with care, balancing fairness and risk management.
7. Supporting key cyclical processes such as performance reviews, reward cycles, and workforce planning, in collaboration with specialist teams.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Proven experience leading a team to deliver business-focused people solutions.
* Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and its impact on employer brand.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence business leaders.
* Experience in developing people processes and managing change projects.
* Deep knowledge of employment legislation and employee relations management in regulated environments.
