Corporate Tax Assistant Manager

An established and growing accountancy and advisory firm is looking to appoint a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join its specialist team in Edinburgh, focused on high-growth and technology-led businesses. This role offers a strong blend of compliance and advisory work, with the opportunity to work closely with ambitious, fast-scaling clients and support them through complex tax challenges. You’ll be part of a collaborative team with a strong focus on development and progression.
Requirements:
* Corporate tax experience covering both compliance and advisory work
* ACCA / ACA / ATT / CTA qualification or equivalent
* Strong relationship-building skills with both clients and internal stakeholders
* Self-motivated and able to operate effectively within a team environment
* Commercially minded with strong problem-solving ability
* Keen to develop career progression within a fast-paced, growth-focused environment
Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of clients, delivering both corporate tax compliance and advisory services
* Review corporate tax returns, computations, and tax accounting disclosures
* Support tax planning, restructuring, and profit extraction projects
* Act as a key point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships
* Collaborate with wider teams to deliver a seamless client service
* Support and coach junior team members as part of ongoing development
