Help us Shape a Flood-Resilient Future We’re looking for a passionate and proactive Flood and Coastal Risk Management Officer to join our Partnerships and Strategic Overview (PSO) Team. In this dynamic and rewarding role you’ll help better protect people, property, and places across East Anglia from the impacts of flooding. You’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference - not just in how we manage flood risk today, but in how we prepare for tomorrow. In this varied role, you will: Use flood risk data and modelling to inform planning decisions. Develop a good understanding of relevant issues and use this information to inf luence Local Plans to ensure flood resilience is built into future development. Evaluate flood risk assessments and provide expert advice. Assess flood risk activity permit applications and their potential impacts. Provide specialist advice and support to customers, internally and externally. Ensure information is recorded accurately, is up to date and readily accessible to support team activities. This may involve the use of specialised systems and databases Take part in incident response when flooding occurs.
