As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with complex needs through both one-to-one and small group work. You will help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored learning strategies, working collaboratively with teaching and therapy staff to deliver meaningful and engaging learning experiences. The role involves supporting pupils with communication, sensory, physical, and behavioural needs, as well as providing personal care where required, including toileting, feeding, and mobility assistance — always delivered with dignity, sensitivity, and respect. You will also contribute to fostering pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development, help create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment, and monitor and record progress to ensure all of the children’s achievements are recognised and supported.
