About the role…

Step into the role of Senior Project Manager at Avove, where you\'ll lead the delivery of large, complex engineering projects from concept to completion, driving innovation and best practices while managing talented teams and collaborating with clients, supply chain partners, and key stakeholders. You’ll play a pivotal part in shaping project outcomes, proactively identifying risks, and implementing solutions that ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. What will your day look like…

* Lead and develop Project Managers and teams, ensuring optimal performance, training, and compliance with Avove’s standards.
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise project work, proactively managing risks, budgets, and quality assurance processes.
* Oversee supply chain partners and contractors, negotiate methods and solutions, and approve works for scope and quality.
* Maintain client relations by delivering projects on time, managing communication, and providing expert solutions to challenges.
* Monitor and control financial aspects, including procurement, invoicing, cost reconciliation, and resource management.
* Promote health, safety, and environmental responsibility, ensuring all activities meet statutory and contractual requirements.


About you…

* Extensive experience managing large-scale or complex projects throughout the entire lifecycle
* Strong knowledge of programme delivery processes and relevant legislation, including HSEQ standards
* Proven ability to lead, develop, and manage teams effectively
* Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills for engaging stakeholders
* Solid financial awareness, with experience in budgeting and managing Profit & Loss
* Familiarity with the NEC form of contract and resource prioritisation in dynamic environments
