FACTORY MANAGER (Stationed in Shenzhen factory)

We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to lead end‑to‑end plant operations and drive improvements in productivity, quality, delivery, and cost control. This role has full responsibility for day‑to‑day manufacturing execution and will also oversee the Finance, HR, and Administration functions at plant level to ensure strong governance, compliance, and efficient operational support.
Key Responsibilities
A. Factory Operations & Performance
Lead overall manufacturing operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient daily production.
Plan, organize, and direct plant activities to meet output, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and on‑time delivery.
Build shop‑floor capability through training, standard work, and continuous improvement programs (提升效率).
Partner with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve product quality, applying Lean Manufacturing practices.
Drive structured continuous improvement using Lean/Kaizen tools and disciplined problem solving.
Monitor and control operating costs (labor, material usage, scrap, utilities, and overheads).
Liaise with local authorities and external parties regarding compliance, inspections, and operational matters as required.
Oversee plant‑level accounting operations to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Coordinate month‑end closing, management reporting, and audit support with finance/accounting teams.
Review vendor payment preparation, approval controls, and payment scheduling.
Monitor bank reconciliations and cash/banking arrangements with finance staff and external banks.
Support statutory financial/tax reporting and submissions to relevant government bodies where applicable.
Provide performance analytics (cost, efficiency, budget vs. actual, and variance analysis) to drive decisions.
C. HR & Payroll Oversight
Oversee end‑to‑end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, and offboarding.
Manage payroll coordination, employee records, attendance/leave administration, and policy adherence.
Support performance management processes and compensation administration.
Ensure HR compliance and effective internal controls aligned with company policies and local requirements.
D. Administration & Systems Support
Manage general administration: office supplies, equipment, facilities repairs/maintenance coordination, and insurance.
Support ERP/MRP (automation) projects at plant level, including process alignment and implementation support.
Ensure administrative and support processes enable efficient production and cross‑department collaboration.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
10+ years in manufacturing, including 5+ years in a plant/factory/operations leadership role.
Proven experience managing factories in PRC; manufacturing industry experience is required.
Experience in plastic and metal fabrication is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen / Continuous Improvement.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing processes; able to support automation/system enhancement.
Solid understanding of HK/PRC accounting standards, tax practices, and compliance (oversight level; not necessarily hands‑on bookkeeping).
Strong planning, organization, leadership, and cost control capabilities.
Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, able to prioritize, and able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
Able to work independently while collaborating effectively across operations, finance, HR, and admin.
