Assistant Finance Manager (Commodity Trading / Maritime)

Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full set of accounts, including journal entries, fixed asset schedules, profit and loss, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations.
* Lead the preparation of monthly MIS reports, cash flow forecasts, estimates, and working capital planning.
* Ensure timely monthly closing and preparation of interim and annual financial statements.
* Oversee MIS preparation for monthly shipping operation reviews and quarterly board presentations.
* Handle quarterly GST submissions and liaise with banks on governance and loan matters.
* Coordinate with auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other stakeholders on compliance matters.
* Support monthly closing and financial reporting for joint venture (JV) companies in collaboration with external service providers.
* Ensure accurate reporting to the Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore for annual expenditure requirements.
* Liaise with investment companies and subsidiary counterparts for financial consolidation and updates.
Requirements
* Degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Minimum 6–8 years of relevant experience.
* Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and statutory compliance.
* Proficient in accounting systems and Excel.
* Excellent organizational and communication skills.
