We are seeking caring, reliable, and proactive Healthcare Assistants (HCA) to join our dedicated Medical Centre team. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the health and wellbeing of pupils within a busy boarding school environment.
The Role
Working closely with our nurses and paramedics, you will:
* Assist in providing high-quality care to pupils who are unwell or recovering.
* Support with medical and administrative tasks such as patient observations, booking appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
* Escort pupils to hospital appointments when needed.
* Ensure the Medical Centre is clean, well-stocked, and welcoming.
* Help prepare and serve meals for in-patients.
* Promote a calm, supportive environment for pupils receiving care.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Compassionate, dependable, and enjoys working with young people.
* Organised and able to multitask in a busy clinical environment.
* A strong communicator and team player with good IT skills.
* Flexible and adaptable, willing to work some evenings and weekends on a rota basis.
Essential:
* GCSE Grade 4 (C) or above in English and Maths
* Current Driving Licence
Desirable:
* Basic First Aid qualification
* Previous experience in a healthcare or care setting
