East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is looking for an experienced Principal Information Analyst to provide analytical expertise across the Information Management and Performance Team's broad portfolio and to support the day‑to‑day running of the department, ensuring external and internal information requests are kept up to date, in line with the latest guidance, and submitted in a timely manner.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has a proven track record in specialist information provision and analysis, supported by an in‑depth specialist knowledge of NHS datasets and definitions. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and takes pride in ensuring everything is fully documented to drive reporting and analysis developments. Advanced Excel and SQL skills are essential, along with a good understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI to help the team transition from Excel to online reporting platforms. The ability to use your own initiative and think on your feet is paramount.
