Our client, based in Sheffield & Lancashire is currently recruiting for Stock Condition Surveyors on 3-6 month temporary contracts. Our client is an award winning, multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy, delivering projects worldwide.
The position is due to start immediately on a full-time basis. The rates are:
* £16.50 per flat
* £24.50 per house
* £27 per block
* Additional £2 per survey if exceed 40 surveys a week
The ideal candidate will have a background in building surveying and also have Stock Condition Surveying experience in social housing properties.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
* Conducting stock condition surveys on social housing units to ensure buildings are designed and constructed appropriately
* Using knowledge and understanding of fire safety compliance including approved document part B
* Recording all information and data on electronic handheld devices
* Liaising and engaging with residents in regards to the work being carried out
* Working in accordance with changing legislations, as well as H&S policies and procedures
Experience required:
* Stock Condition Surveying experience for social housing properties
* Experience booking in appointments to conduct surveys
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
* Must hold a full UK driving license
