Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
Full-time, 1.0fte (37 hours per week)
Salary range: £38,784 to £41,064 per annum
About this role
The post-holder will play a key role in supporting the Executive Dean and Heads of School in the effective management, operations and administration of the faculty in line with strategic priorities. As the central point of contact for administrative matters across the Faculty, the role will provide high-level data to support strategic decision making. Leading the Faculty’s Administrative and Operational team, the post holder will foster a high-performance culture through strong internal communication, professional development and responsive support for staff and students.
The role holder will facilitate the integration of administrative functions across campuses and academic areas, promoting collaboration and consistency in process, systems and service delivery, ensuring seamless support for academic programmes and research activities.

6. Understanding, or willingness to learn how to support the operational management of Faculty partnership activity at both national and international levels, including liaison with collaborative institutions, partner representatives, and internal and external stakeholders.
