We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Regional SIOP / Demand Director to lead and drive the regional Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process. This role will be responsible for aligning regional demand with supply capabilities, managing forecast accuracy, and ensuring cross-functional collaboration between sales, operations, finance, and supply chain. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning, excellent stakeholder management skills, and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* SIOP Leadership:
Lead the regional SIOP process, ensuring alignment between commercial forecasts, production capabilities, inventory targets, and financial plans.
* Demand Planning:
Develop, maintain, and improve short- and long-term demand forecasts by working closely with sales, marketing, and product teams.
* Cross-Functional Alignment:
Facilitate monthly SIOP meetings, driving consensus across commercial, finance, and operations teams. Translate business insights into actionable supply chain plans.
* InterCo process:
* Working closely with the site leads and Regional GM, create and manage an efficient process to facilitate the smooth operation of intercompany trading between the three UK locations.
* Analytics & KPI Management:
Monitor key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, and supply-demand balance. Identify and implement improvements.
* Scenario Planning:
Evaluate supply and demand risks and opportunities; create mitigation plans using scenario and sensitivity analysis.
* Regional Strategy Support:
Align regional forecasts and supply chain initiatives with global strategies and contribute to overall regional performance goals.
* Systems & Tools:
Utilize planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis, etc.) and Excel-based models to manage forecasts and analyze data. Support digital transformation initiatives within planning.
* Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the regional point of contact for global SIOP initiatives, collaborating with global supply chain teams to ensure best practices are shared and implemented.
* Leadership – Supply Chain US Team
* Build and manage a high performing purchasing team, partnering with the Global Supply Chain VP for key strategic sourcing plans as needed
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in demand planning, SIOP, or supply chain management, Project Management or Senior Account Management with demonstrable skills.
* A strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer and business requirements to ensure revenue and profitability targets are achieved.
* Experience managing a regional or multi-country scope is highly desirable
* Strong analytical and modeling skills; proficiency in Excel, ERP, and demand planning software
* Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and facilitating planning processes
* Excellent communication and influencing skills across multiple levels of the organization
* APICS, IBF, or similar supply chain certification a plus
* Ability to travel regionally (20-25%)
