EYFS Teacher – Reception Class (2‑Form Entry)

We are currently working with a welcoming and supportive 2‑form entry primary school in Colchester who are seeking a dedicated EYFS Teacher to lead a Reception class from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years teacher who is committed to delivering the EYFS curriculum in a nurturing, engaging, and child‑centred environment.
The Role:
* Full‑time Reception class teacher
* Based in a 2‑form entry primary school
* Planning and delivering the EYFS curriculum
* Creating a stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Working collaboratively with the parallel Reception teacher, EYFS team, and leadership
* Supporting pupils’ learning, development, and wellbeing during this crucial early stage
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in EYFS, ideally Reception
* Demonstrate a strong passion for the Early Years curriculum
* Be creative, nurturing, and child‑focused in their teaching approach
* Have strong classroom organisation and behaviour management skills
* Work effectively as part of a team in a 2‑form entry setting

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
