Manual Machinist
£35,000 £17.25 per hour + overtime at 1.5, Bonus, permanent, Bristol BS2, 39 hours per week Monday to Friday, early finish Friday, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension, sick scheme.
Our client is a successful and established precision engineering company with a small but friendly team of engineers looking for a skilled manual machinist, manual turner, lathe machinist.
The manual machinist, manual turner, lathe machinist role will see you carrying out duties such as:
* Manual machining of parts
* Manual turning
* Manual lathe work is essential and milling experience is beneficial
* Reading engineering drawings
* You will manage your own workload with jobs allocated from the engineering supervisor.
* This role will allow you to get on with your work unsupervised with your allocated jobs
The skilled manual machinist, lathe machinist is likely to have:
* Served an engineering apprenticeship as a skilled machinist; however, candidates who are time served in machining could also be suitable if they can demonstrate a suitable track record in manual machining.
The skilled manual machinist, manual turner, lathe machinist will have a history of working in precision engineering producing small batches and one-offs to fine tolerances.
