We seek an experienced Registered Manager to lead operations, ensure exceptional care, and support residents, staff, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations, maintaining high care standards and a child-centred atmosphere.
* Lead and develop the team, including recruitment, trauma-informed training, and performance management.
* Ensure Ofsted compliance, audits, risk assessments, and safeguarding.
* Create and monitor individualised care plans to promote development, independence, and resilience.
* Handle budgets, resources, and finances with transparency.
* Build relationships with residents, families, professionals, and local authorities for effective service and reunification.
* Promote the home via marketing, engagement, and partnerships to sustain occupancy.
* Manage admin, reporting, policies, and updates on best practices.
* Drive quality improvements, incident handling, activities, and independence transitions.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
* NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent (e.g., RMA).
* Proven Registered Manager experience in children’s homes with strong Ofsted track record.
* Knowledge of regulations, including Ofsted, safeguarding, and youth support.
* Team management in residential care for ages 7-18 with challenges.
* Strong leadership, communication, and empathy in demanding situations.
* Organisational and problem‑solving prowess.
* IT proficiency for care systems.
* Dedication to development and trauma-informed care.
* Resilience and passion for empowerment and collaboration.
