Turner Lovell are partnering with a leading international engineering organisation to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician for a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-tech production environment supporting critical infrastructure projects across the UK and Europe. The facility specialises in manufacturing products playing a key role in energy and infrastructure delivery.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician with a strong engineering background, someone who is safety-conscious, proactive, and eager to develop their career within a dynamic, highly technical manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform planned preventive maintenance on plant, machinery, and associated systems
* Respond to reactive maintenance requirements and troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime
* Maintain and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems, including PLC-controlled equipment
* Support calibration, testing, and commissioning of production machinery
* Assist in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders
* Follow strict health, safety, and environmental procedures
* Ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
Requirements
* Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, or Multi-Skilled Engineering (ONC/HNC, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds)
* Proven experience in heavy manufacturing or continuous production environments
* Strong electrical and mechanical xsngvjr skills, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manuals
* Knowledge of PLC systems for diagnostics
* Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques (vibration analysis, thermal imaging)
* Relevant industry tickets (MEWP, forklift) or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
* Able to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team
