Compensation: £32,000 - £40,000 / year


Description

Receptional are seeking a new Paid Search Manager to join our award-winning Paid Media Team in Bedford. The role can be fully remote or hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days from home), depending on the successful client locations. The successful candidate will need to be based in the UK due to required office visits and client meetings.

About the Role: Paid Search Managers manage day-to-day Paid Search campaigns for our larger clients, collaborating with the Paid Social, SEO, Creative, Content and Data & Innovation teams to execute Paid Search and Display strategies across multiple key iGaming accounts. The role will involve incorporating AI-driven tools to enhance campaign efficiency, from ad copy creation to performance analysis. The role is primarily Paid Search, with opportunities to learn wider social platforms.


Key Responsibilities

* Create and optimise paid search campaigns to improve efficiency and conversions
* Manage day-to-day client communications and relationships
* Ensure PPC best practices across all campaigns and direct reports
* Utilise AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Google Ads Performance Max AI features, and proprietary tools) to streamline campaign creation, testing and optimisation
* Monitor spend and performance against KPIs
* Conduct daily account checks to identify issues or opportunities
* Apply machine learning insights and automated processes to improve ad relevance and reduce manual workload
* Maintain professional certifications (e.g., Google Ads Certification)
* Stay up to date with industry trends and developments
* Contribute to internal meetings and initiatives (e.g., Focus Groups, culture initiatives)
* Provide clients with campaign insights and strategic advice
* Provide campaign reporting as agreed with clients
* Work with a Paid Media Account Director/Senior Paid Search Manager to develop client strategies
* Liaise with platform partners (e.g., Google, Facebook, LinkedIn) as required
* Stay informed about AI and automation advancements and apply them to improve efficiency and performance
* Contribute to refining internal processes that use AI tools


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Essential Skills:
* 3+ years’ experience in paid search, preferably agency-side
* Extensive experience in Google Ads campaign creation and management
* Ability to manage client relationships and prepare presentations
* Strong budgeting and forecasting abilities
* Willingness to contribute to Paid Search audits and new business proposals
* Ability to work autonomously
* Numerate and analytical with strong verbal and written communication
* Comfort with AI tools and automation to improve performance and reporting
* Understanding of how AI is evolving in paid media and ability to adapt strategy
* Attend and contribute to internal and client meetings
* Share agency values and support the team
* Willingness to manage a Paid Search Exec / Consultant
Non-Essential Skills
* Ability to train others internally
* Maintain agency relationships with partners (e.g., Google, Facebook, Spotify, Pinterest) as main POC
* Contribute to award entries and client case studies
* Experience in B2B iGaming opportunities
* Experience using AI for creative development (e.g., generating ad copy or landing page variants)
* Mentor junior team members on AI best practices in paid search
