You'll act as a key worker to motivate and empower women to gain independence and reach their full potential.
You'll create support plans and help women achieve their goals and independence, working collaboratively as part of a team who embrace differences.
Further enhance your relationship building and partnership working skills by promoting your services and working closely with relevant local agencies such as the local authority, specialist charities, education and training providers, probation, social services, and housing provisions.
The ability to engage and build strong relationships with people.
A non-judgemental mindset and an understanding of the impacts of homelessness, substance misuse, family breakdown, domestic abuse, and trauma.
A forward-thinking and resilient attitude to overcome the barriers and setbacks you will face.
A strong character who can remain calm and collected in challenging situations.
Experience in support work or domestic abuse with an understanding of housing options, housing law, and basic benefits.
A full UK driving license and access to a car.

Contract: Part-time, Permanent
Location: Bridgend
Working Hours: 30 hours per week, plus an on-call rota
On Call: Required to be part of the first-tier on-call rota, providing telephone and in-person support. Support Workers provide on-call support and advice for colleagues, handling issues and emergencies as needed. This may include shift cover or out-of-hours project attendance where alternatives are unavailable. An additional payment of £96 is provided for on-call duties. Any shift completed voluntarily or as part of on-call will be paid in addition to your salary at relief rates; Relief Pay per hour: £13.45, Sleepover: £172.60.
