Trainee Airfreight Forwarder / Freight Forwarder
Location: Whitfield, Dover, CT16 2HQ
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

The Role
You will be trained alongside our operatives to eventually be able to complete the following:
Main responsibilities:
* Planning and arranging collections and deliveries - Logistics
* Liaising with customers, carriers, suppliers, shipping lines, port authorities etc. by telephone, email etc
* Obtaining the necessary paperwork, Bill of ladings etc
* Admin / Administration support to all parties
* Data input / Data entry and general admin
Skills and qualities:
* Previous experience in general forwarding/logistics
* Ability to work under pressure (deadlines), independently and within a team
* Attention to detail, competent in Microsoft, Outlook, and ability to learn new procedures
* Be driven and self-motivated
* Be good at admin and prioritising

* As a Freight Forwarder

* In Airfreight / Road freight
