About the role
All children are special but at RAFAKidz we believe our children are extra special. RAFAKidz is one of the chosen providers of nursery services to the RAF (Royal Air Force). The nurseries at RAF Brize Norton (Carterton) are two of 21 settings in the RAFAKidz family. The nursery (0-3) has around 130 children on roll, supported by a team of circa 60 employees. The Pre School has around 40 children on roll, supported by a team of circa 8 employees.
Your role will be to manage the day-to-day operations of both sites, working closely with your leadership teams at both sites. The settings are both located within close proximity to RAF Brize Norton, being about 10 minutes drive apart from each other. The nurseries are registered as separate URNs with Ofsted but we serve the same families and children transition from one setting to the other as they progress through the setting.

* To provide professional leadership and management of both nurseries.
* To effectively manage the day-to day running of both nurseries.
* To ensure the delivery of the highest standards of care and education across both sites.
* To ensure compliance with all policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
* To ensure the financial sustainability of both nurseries.
* To be the Designated Safeguarding Lead for both nurseries.
Requirements
This post requires a satisfactory, enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and every three years thereafter.
