We are currently recruiting a Project officer for one of our partnership clients. We require a temporary project officer to work within a supported housing scheme for 16–25-year-olds.
Your new role
You will provide key worker support for young people on a one-on-one basis and in group work settings, including life skills and independent skills, including cooking and money management. You will have a caseload of up to 12 people who you will produce support and action plans and also risk assessments. You will also provide scheme cover on a rota basis, maintaining the safety and security of the scheme. This will involve lone working alone after 5pm.
You will be required to work full time Monday–Friday and you will work on a 3-week rota, working 8–4pm, 10-6pm and 12-8pm. This role is on-site but might be an option for some home working.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally, you will have worked in a role supporting young people, and you will have some knowledge of writing support plans. You will have excellentmunication skills and will have experience working in a customer-facing role. Understanding homelessness and housing legislation would be beneficial.
