 
        
        A successful and inclusive 11–18 secondary school in Herefordshire is seeking a dedicated Teacher of English to join its vibrant faculty from January 2026 .
The Role
This is a full-time, permanent position teaching English across Key Stages 3–5. You’ll be joining a department that balances academic rigour with creativity, where literature and language are used to build confidence, empathy and independent thought.
The English team works closely on shared schemes of learning, giving every teacher a solid structure while still allowing for personal flair in delivery. Recent curriculum development has focused on powerful texts, diverse voices and strong literacy routines across the school.
