The Role
We are looking for a proactive Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this position, you will provide vital financial support across several business units, helping to ensure accuracy, transparency, and efficiency in financial reporting. You’ll play a crucial role in analysing performance, contributing to strategic decisions, and supporting compliance obligations.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
* Prepare and review monthly management accounts for multiple subsidiaries
* Post journal entries and reconcile balance sheets
* Assist with overhead cost reviews and Group-level financial reporting
Data Analysis & Insights
* Collect and verify financial information from across the business
* Analyse costs, trends, and performance metrics to provide actionable insights
* Support management with data-driven recommendations
Compliance & Audit Support
* Help with statutory accounts preparation and VAT submissions
* Liaise with auditors and contribute to regulatory reporting requirements
What We’re Looking For
* CIMA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven experience in management accounting and financial reporting
* Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
* A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
* Ability to hit the ground running and adapt in a fast-paced environment
