Overview
Role: registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists (OTs) in Aylesbury. Hybrid work arrangement with office and home working. Hours: Monday to Friday 9 – 5. Salary: £37,500 (PIP) - £40,000 (WCA) per year plus bonus scheme and benefits. Start salary and progression: £37,500 (PIP) - £40,000 (WCA) with opportunities for salary uplifts and benefits as an Approved Functional Assessor.
You will use and build upon clinical skills and knowledge with a focus on medical, cognitive and mental health conditions, providing assessments to support PIP or ESA benefit claims.
Responsibilities
* Undertake a combination of file-work, face-to-face and telephone/video assessments with customers relating to PIP or ESA benefits.
* Provide comprehensive reports to enable decision makers at the DWP to make informed benefit decisions.
* Develop medical knowledge across a broad range of conditions and contribute to ongoing CPD and professional development.
* Support customers and transfer current skills to the level required for the role, with ongoing training and revalidation support.
Benefits and Work Arrangements
* Salary uplift: £1,000 after 6 months and a further £1,000 after 12 months.
* Up to 10% quality and performance bonus once approved as a Functional Assessor.
* Hybrid role with a minimum of 2 days per week at a consultation centre; no night or weekend shifts required.

Requirements
* At least one year’s post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist.
* Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or equivalent), with an active PIN and no restrictions or conditions.
* Excellent observational and communication skills; ability to listen, empathise and probe beyond the surface.
* Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
