We are currently looking for an experienced Claims Handler to join our client. The Job As a Claims Handler, you’ll play a key role in managing and monitoring claims, ensuring no leakage occurs and delivering exceptional service to clients. Key Responsibilities: Support customers from their first notification of claim until the completion of repairs. Ensure claims are processed in line with guidelines, current case law, and indemnity requirements. Investigate and determine liability, preparing necessary documentation and communicating with relevant parties. Manage the claims pipeline effectively, meeting service level agreements and reporting any delays promptly. Identify opportunities for group services (hire, repair, etc.) while mitigating total claim costs. Oversee hire claims to prevent any discrepancies in acceptance, duration, or vehicle type. Coordinate with engineers, body shops, and internal teams to ensure timely repairs. Maintain regular customer contact, providing updates and addressing any concerns. Handle complaints professionally, following the established escalation process. What You Need: Strong customer service skills and excellent communication abilities. Basic understanding of accident insurance policies (further training will be provided). Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. Strong organisational skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Proactive attitude and adaptability to changing situations.
