SEN Teaching Assistant
We are seeking a motivated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist school, supporting children as a SEN Teaching Assistant. About the Role
As a SEN Support Assistant, you will support pupils in the classroom and in small groups, assisting teachers with lesson delivery and SEN-focused strategies. You will play a key role in helping children access the curriculum, develop social and emotional skills, and gain confidence in their learning. Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with SEN as a Support Assistant in the classroom and during structured activities.
* Assist teachers in delivering lessons and personalised learning plans.
* Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
* Contribute to ongoing education and training for staff and pupils.
* Observe and report on pupil progress to inform teaching strategies.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to support pupil development.
