Key responsibilities of LCV Technician / Vehicle Technician / Van Technician / Van Mechanic:
* Perform diagnostic, mechanical and electrical repairs on LCVs
* Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to high industry standards
* Use computer-aided diagnostic tools (training provided if needed)
* Ensure health and safety compliance at all times
* Complete accurate job records and communicate effectively with the team
Skills and experience required for LCV Technician / Vehicle Technician / Van Technician / Van Mechanic:
Essential
* Proven experience working as an LCV Technician / Vehicle Technician / Van Technician / Van Mechanic or Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
* Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic fault-finding skills
* Good understanding of LCV servicing and repairs
* Committed to health and safety practices
* Willingness to learn and train on latest technologies, including electric vehicles
Desirable
* Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g. IMI, City & Guilds)
* Experience working in a main dealer or commercial fleet workshop
* Class C (or higher) driving licence
