My client is a company dedicated to the automotive sector, providing a wide range of services with attractive solutions and competitive rates. They specialise in rental for all durations, innovative car subscription and electric car sharing for both private individuals and companies of all sizes. They are now active in seven European countries – Italy, France, Spain, United Kingdom, Portugal, Denmark and Greece – with more than 650 electrified automotive stores in Europe and 1,600 owned charging stations.
You will be managing claims from the start through to settlement, making decisions on the extent and validity of a claim, and assisting in checking for any potential fraudulent activity relating to car rental. You’ll coordinate services that may be required by policyholders following an accident or incident.
You will report to the Insurance Claims Manager. Your role will entail:
* Processing claims quickly and correctly, ensuring that all claims funds are recouped where applicable
* Capturing third parties and providing excellent customer service to get them back on the road
* Monitoring insurance cases from first notice to payment and ensuring all paperwork is completed to ensure a fair settlement is reached
* Liaising with head office and branches to advise them of any issues that arise
* Assisting insurers to investigate the veracity of claims and liaising with brokers and underwriters
* Any other duties required, commensurate with the post
* Have strong analytical and numerical skills and be confident manipulating and analysing data
* Be able to work well as part of a team and prioritise a busy workload
* Be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail and an interest in insurance
* Be positive and have a proactive approach/confident personality
* Be reliable and able to work to tight deadlines
* Be computer literate (European Computer Driving Licence/Microsoft user level), especially in Excel spreadsheets
* Have a smart, professional appearance
* Previous experience in motor insurance claims or the car rental sector would be desirable, but this is not essential.
* Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
* A clean driving licence held for at least two years would be an advantage but is not essential for this role.
