Robert Half Accountancy and Finance is recruiting for Assistant Accountant to join a market leading business based in west Leeds. Key Responsibilities: Ensure internal controls and procedures are followed to maintain accurate accounting records. Manage overhead activities, including accruals, expenses, reviewing invoices, and day-to-day accounting tasks.
Carry out month-end balance sheet reviews, investigate discrepancies, and escalate issues where necessary. Extract, manipulate, and analyse data using Excel, leveraging your analytical skills to deliver insights and solutions. What We're Looking For: Accounting qualifications such as AAT or ACCA - either qualified or actively studying (essential) Previous Assistant Accountant experience Strong analytical skills with strong Excel skills A confidence-driven, self-starting approach Detail-oriented focus, with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written What's on offer?
