About the Role
A Junior Supplier Relationship Manager is required to support the delivery of essential facilities management and accommodation services for the UK defence estate. This position is based at DSTL Porton Down, with occasional travel to RFCA sites. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to the performance of a high-profile defence contract by managing suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions, and embedding sustainable procurement practices. You will play a key part in shaping a supply chain that is efficient, compliant and performance driven. This position is suited to an individual with a background in facilities management and prior experience in procurement or supply chain management who is seeking progression and increased responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage supplier relationships within formal frameworks, ensuring delivery in line with agreed KPIs and SLAs
2. Negotiate contracts, terms and conditions to secure value for money and mitigate risks
3. Implement and monitor sustainable procurement practices across the supply chain
