About the Role Join Airbus' cutting-edge Research & Technology (R&T) team as a Fuel Systems Engineer, leading the exciting SafeLeak project - a key initiative shaping the future of fuel systems for next-generation aircraft. This is your chance to work at the forefront of aerospace innovation, driving the development of new fuel system equipment from concept through to Technology Readiness Level 4 (and beyond). You'll collaborate with internal specialists, suppliers, and stakeholders to bring pioneering ideas to life. ?? What You'll Be Doing Lead the SafeLeak R&T project, focusing on new fuel system equipment development. Evaluate supplier technologies and select the right partner for future collaboration. Define technical specifications, installation reports, and architecture dossiers. Prepare and present project reviews, including a roadmap to TRL6. Work closely with Airbus system specialists, R&T programme teams, and suppliers. ?? What We're Looking For Must-Have: Strong background in aerospace or aviation engineering. Experience in systems engineering, especially early design phases. Confident communicator with internal teams and external suppliers. Familiarity with TRL (Technology Readiness Level) processes.
