Job Title: Remedial Electrician

Salary: £42,500 - £65,000 per annum (including overtime)
Hours: 45 hours per week (Overtime Available)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Remedial Electrician to join a leading electrical compliance provider that delivers high-quality services across a wide range of sectors including retail, manufacturing, automotive, and education. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out fault diagnosis and remedial work to ensure electrical safety and compliance.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced electrician with strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills, looking to work with a respected and growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, assess, and rectify faults in single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
Carry out electrical repairs and minor works on low voltage (LV) installations.
Order necessary parts and equipment required for tasks.
Work in coordination with the Remedials/Operations Supervisor to align with maintenance schedules.
Ensure all work complies with industry standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation and complete all required paperwork on time.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with clients.
Produce accurate and concise reports using internal systems (CRM training provided).
Essential Requirements
Strong experience in electrical testing and installation in commercial and/or industrial environments.
Proficient in fault finding and delivering first-time fixes on electrical systems.
Experience working on LV installations.
Effective management of tools, materials, and time.
Up-to-date knowledge of electrical legislation and safety standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to 24-hour operational environments.
Willingness to use IT systems for reporting (training provided).
Qualifications
Recognised time-served electrical apprenticeship (Contracting, Maintenance, or Mining).
IET BS7671:2018 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential).
CSCS Safety Passport or equivalent (Essential).
