This role requires a Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years.

Your Duties
* Friendly, spirited individuals are invited to join our Leatherhead Nursery as a Lunchtime Assistant.
* Cover hours approximately 10am to 3pm.
* Deliver exceptional care that supports each child’s development and individual needs.
* Fulfill lunchtime responsibilities and provide vital support to local nurseries with a flexible approach.
* Create enriching environments filled with engaging activities to foster indoor and outdoor growth.
* Follow British Values embedded in Core Advantage, LEAP, and Early Years Foundation Stage learning, ensuring a holistic education experience. Safety remains paramount, with adherence to child protection and health and safety policies safeguarding children’s well‑being.
What We Ideally Require From You
* Experience in early years education settings with Good or Outstanding inspection outcomes.
* Level 2 or above qualification in Early Years.
* Successful collaboration within nursery teams and effective communication.
* Record of ongoing training and professional qualifications.
* Proficiency in hygiene standards, room preparation, and decision-making.
* Experience in food preparation and relevant food management training.
* Familiarity with child protection and safeguarding policies.
* Motivated and deadline-driven, particularly in children’s record-keeping and assessment.
