We have an exceptional opportunity for an Embedded Software Engineer to join an exciting Semiconductor company based near Reading and Northampton, focused on revolutionising wired connectivity with greater speed and efficiency.
This is a technical, hands-on role requiring close collaboration with Tier-1 customers, startups, and engineering teams to develop, test, and maintain embedded software for silicon projects. Recently pivoting into AI, the company offers a unique opportunity to shape its future direction.
For this Embedded Software Engineer role, we are looking for someone with:
* Experience in embedded C
* Experience with real-time embedded software, RTOS / FreeRTOS
* Knowledge of board bring-up
* Experience with chip-level software development (SoC, ASIC, FPGA) is advantageous
* An understanding of object-oriented programming (Python, C++) is preferred
