Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial & Commercial Refrigeration Service Engineer (North) to cover various customer locations throughout the Midlands and East parts of the country, including East Midlands, South Yorkshire, and Lincolnshire.
Job Purpose
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively deliver engineering tasks, including maintenance and service visits to food factories, RDCs, and warehouses, on a variety of equipment including Recip, Scroll, Screw compressor packs, Ammonia, Co2 & HFC/HFO Installations.
* Carry out service and reactive breakdown cover during normal hours, supporting out-of-hours work via a standby rota.
* Meet customer and business requirements through internal and client support functions.
* Ensure all engineering tasks are supported with appropriate commercial awareness and system compliance.
* Maintain quality standards for each engineering task, following all practices and guidelines.
* Conform to industry best practices and legislative guidelines.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Proven knowledge in the Industrial Refrigeration engineering sector and customer expectations.
* Relevant technical competencies and certificates, including 2079 Refrigerant handling, ACRIB, Ammonia.
* Completed recognized training/course in Industrial Refrigeration.
* Good knowledge of maintenance & service duties on medium to large industrial applications.
* Experience with large central plant diagnosis and fault-finding, including compressors from brands like Grasso, Sabroe, J&E Hall, GEA, Mycom.
