Job Description:
The Highways Technician will work with the Service Delivery Manager to develop and improve Technology Performance across designated assets. The role is primarily day shifts from 8:30 am to 5 pm, with occasional night shifts and on-call duties (1 week in 5).
* Fault rectification and maintenance on technology assets across the Highways Network.
* Proactive, reactive, and planned maintenance within the network.
* Coordinate with the Lead Engineer for inspections and schedules.
* Adjust work allocations in response to emergencies to meet response times and maintenance obligations.
* Assist in developing maintenance programs.
Responsibilities:
* Client and stakeholder liaison, managing service partners and supply chain.
* Manage maintenance resources and support third-party support.
* Understand client processes, standards, and specifications.
* Investigate and rectify faults.
* Perform planned maintenance.
* Comply with EH&S requirements.
* Identify and escalate network issues or improvements.
Qualifications / Skills:
* Valid Driving Licence.
* HERS Sector 8 training (preferred).
* Chapter 8 competency (preferred).
* ONC or B/TEC in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
* Candidate must pass drug and alcohol testing.
