⏰ Hours: Monday to Friday, 1:45pm – 10:15pm (Late Shift)

The Role
We are looking for a CNC Laser Operator to join our manufacturing team on the late shift, operating our Amada laser cutting machine. This role involves running production schedules, ensuring high standards of quality control, and supporting the wider fabrication team. The successful candidate will have strong attention to detail, good organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a busy manufacturing environment. You will play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly while maintaining excellent quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
⚙️ Machine Operation
Operate the Amada laser cutting machine safely and efficiently.
Identify and load production schedules and programs.
Start up and shut down machinery correctly.
Clear alarms and troubleshoot operational issues.
Production & Quality
Unload cut parts from the machine.
Measure parts and carry out quality inspections.
Prepare accurate production records and inspection documentation.
Package completed parts appropriately for their destination.
Machine Maintenance
Maintain the laser cutting machine in good working order.
Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs under supervisor guidance.
Warehouse & Yard Support
Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
Operate a forklift truck and overhead crane when required.
Support general fabrication and labour tasks across the department when necessary.
Health, Safety & Housekeeping
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your working area.
Help ensure the yard and operational areas remain tidy and safe for all staff.
Skills & Experience Required
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

Ability to follow production schedules accurately
Strong attention to detail when inspecting components
